EAP is a course for intermediate English language students looking to pursue a tertiary level education offered at universities and colleges across Australia. The programme is developed around a core text with supplementary materials provided by the teachers from a range of authentic sources to facilitate real-life learning.
Upon completion, you will have developed solid English language skills to:
- Read and understand academic journals and text
- Write reports and essays
- Understand lectures and presentations
- Participate in tutorials and group discussions
- Prepare and give presentations in class
- Prepare effective class note-taking
- Engage in critical thinking and academic research

Age: 18 and above
International Students: Have at least a few years of high school education or completed high school.
Have successfully completed a General English course which articulates into the EAP course, or
• Have achieved a satisfactory result in an ELICOS placement test, or
• Have demonstrated their level of English by providing evidence from international English language tests such as IELTS, TOEFL and PTE.
